GF · Club OS module

Grade and form teams in a board the club can reopen.

Grading & Formation is the working surface for one of the highest-pressure committee jobs. Boards hold team needs, draft placements and status so the next grading meeting starts from the same view, not from a new spreadsheet.

The job

What Grading & Formation is for.

Give selectors, registrars and coaches a shared board for each age group. Define what each team needs, draft who goes where, and keep that work inside Club OS.

Product screenshots go here This module will carry real Club OS captures of the working screens. The layout is ready for them.
Who uses it

Built around real club roles.

Technical / coaching lead

Drafts placements with the current player list in front of them.

Registrar

Connects enrolled people to the teams that will actually take the field.

Age-group coordinator

Sees team needs and gaps without collecting five versions of the same board.

President

Knows formation is happening in the club system, not in one person’s laptop.

Inside the module

The functionality committees actually run.

01

Boards per age group

Create a board for U13, U15 girls, seniors or any group that needs its own working view. One board per group keeps the draft simple.

02

Team needs first

Define what each team requires before dragging names around. Numbers, roles and constraints sit on the board so the draft has a purpose.

03

Draft placements

Move people into teams as the conversation happens. Status can stay in draft until the committee is ready to treat it as the season formation.

04

Search and filters

Find a player, a board or a status quickly. Grading nights are not the time to scroll a 400-row sheet.

05

Tied to People & Teams

The board uses the live register. You are not grading a stale export from three weeks ago.

06

A record after the meeting

When the night ends, the board remains. Incoming coordinators can see how the group was formed, not just the final team names.

How it runs

A path volunteers can repeat.

01 · Open a board Name it for the age group, gender and season.
02 · Set team needs Add the teams you must fill and what each one requires.
03 · Draft placements Place people, mark status, and keep the conversation on the board.
04 · Confirm into teams When ready, the formation becomes the operating team lists used by fixtures and managers.
What it replaces

The hidden systems clubs already have.

  • Grading spreadsheets on one laptop
  • Whiteboard photos in a group chat
  • Versioned files named FINAL_v7
  • Memory of who was selected last year
